Velda L. Conway
On June 24, 1997, I became the recipient of a liver transplant
at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. My life was
saved by the unselfish act of someone who cared and signed
the back of his or her drivers license. A simple act allowing
for organ donation. I have returned to a full, active life as a
nurse and a grandmother, and, with God's and the physicians'
help, will continue to be an active, productive individual
for a long time.
