Position: Tissue/Ocular Procurement Coordinator
Reports to: Director, Eye & Tissue Bank
Full/Part-Time: Full-Time
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Schedule: 12-hour call four days a week, to include days, nights and weekends on a weekly rotation
Salary Range: 6, minimum $17.64

Requirements: Science-related college degree or certification in Surgical Technology preferred. Prior Emergency and/or Operated Room experience also preferred. Effective communication, problem solving, and basic knowledge of anatomy and sterile technique are required. Ability to respond to departmental needs on a 24 hour basis; ability to take call and respond on-site within 90 minutes are essential.

Responsibilities: TOPCs Assess donor suitability to ensure safe and effective tissue for processing. This position is responsible for maximizing tissue and eye donation to ensure optimal outcomes for tissue donor families and recipients. They Prepare, assess, and route donor charts to ensure rapid and accurate release of tissue. They participate as active members of their department and organization to support the MTS mission.
